Weight Gain - The Beginning

by newradicals @ 2007-10-01 - 22:16:17

My name is Tom, I am a 17 year old upper sixth student in Northern Ireland.

I weigh 63 kgs(139 lbs) and have set myself the target of reaching a whopping 70 kgs by New Years Day 2007. I am about 6'1" and am quite skinny for my size. I dont want to be absolutely huge, just not noticebly skinny and be comfortable topless etc. I am a complete novice to the gym world and im hoping that i might be able to pull this off. I am not exactly motivated to the gym and am not especially good at any sports. I am using advice of friends who play rugby and other sports and research on the internet to base my knowledge. The supplements i have bought for this endeavour are:

2x 4.4kg Mammoth Protein
1x CrEE-Extreme Creatine
2x 12 maximuscle cyclone bars

So far its been hard for me to oreintate my weights around school work and school itself. I find that 1/2 an hour weights at 07:00 before I go to school, i only do menial arm, shoulder and back weights with dumbells then some push ups and sit ups. My diet has also been a big issue, i find it hard to eat lots so i think concentrated calorie foods are easier.

I am aiming to consume:

Protein Shake
1 Serving of Creatine
Breakfast(Cereal & Toast)
Southern Fried Chicken Sandwhich
Duck w/ Hoi Sin Sauce Sandwhich
Protein Shake
Dinner(Home Cooked)
Junk Food

*one tip i can recomend even as a novice is to drink milk with everything, but always remeber to drink lots of water when taking creatine.

Well tommorrow it all starts and I hope to keep the regime up to a pristine level.

I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. I left school at 18 years old. I was 6 foot 4 inches and weighed a meagre 151lb. I looked like a skeleton. However I now weigh 264lb and would never have sand kicked in my face. All I did was Kickboxing. Hope you get on alright.
cheers,
And.
